International Transfers

They are carried out in the entire network of bank branches as well as through the online application.
For transfers departing outside Albania, the provisions of the Bank of Albania’s “Foreign Exchange Activity” regulation, as amended, apply.

The channel used by the bank to execute international transfers is the SWIFT platform.
The normal date-currency applied by the bank for the execution of these types of transfers is d+2.
At the customer’s request, against the application of additional commissions according to the working conditions in force, the bank can execute transfers with urgent date-currency: within a day or with date-currency d+1.

• BIC/SWIFT Code of the bank: PUPPALTR
• Currencies accepted by the bank: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CAD.

Bank details necessary for the execution of a transfer on departure outside Albania:

• Full name and address of the beneficiary;
• IBAN of the beneficiary’s account or account number for those countries where IBAN is not applied;
• Name and address of the beneficiary’s bank;
• BIC/Swift code of the beneficiary bank. In the absence of BIC/Swift Code, codes such as: Routing Number, sort-code, etc. are valid.

• Selection of commissions: OUR – All commissions will be paid by the ordering customer, SH.A – Commissions of the ordering bank are paid by the ordering customer, while commissions applied by other banks are paid by the beneficiary customer BEN – All commissions will be paid from the beneficiary customer
